The IMA Hero™ Collection
is a group of cute, beanbag-style bears with
an educational twist. They celebrate important
people in the past 1,000 years who have made
a positive contribution to society. (My personal
favorite is Galileo - he has a little telescope
embroidered on his chest!) The IMA Hero™
Collection is distributed by StarRise Creations,
which created the bears to educate and inspire
people of all ages, the goal being to design
educational tools for people to learn while
they are having fun.
Bear Heroes include Sacagawea,
Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Alva Edison, William
Shakespeare, Benjamin Franklin, Christopher
Columbus, Florence Nightingale, Mozart, and
more. There are lots of classroom tie-ins available
on the site, too!
